Audio & MP3s

Digital, hand held players with two hours of narrative guide you through history on the Freedom Trail. This is the very first outdoor citywide audio tour of its kind, and its been produced by the same people who created tours for the US Air and Space Museum, The Louvre Museum in Paris, Alcatraz, the Museum of Fine Arts right here in Boston and so many more!

Sound effects, character voices, celebrities and historians can all be heard on this tour. You can start or finish anywhere on the Trail, and listen to each segment as often -or as little - as you like. Historical information about the Freedom Trail is flavored with the ambient sounds of the 18th Century and colorful commentary about some of Boston's past since the Revolution, like the Molasses Flood, the Brinks Robbery and the development of the City's famous North End. This tour also allows for flexible scheduling too. You can break for lunch or a beverage, then turn your player back on and pick up right where you left off!

Freedom Trail Antenna Audio players can be picked up at the Visitor Information Center, Boston Common right now!
